Follow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/andrewhurstphoto Incredible lap of the Nürburgring Nordschleife that I did with the very talented Porsche factory race driver Le Mans winner Kevin Estre, in the new Porsche Weissach 991.2 GT3 RS. Identical car used by Kevin on his record n/a 6:56 lap, with suspension set up for the Nordschleife by the race team, however the car on this day was fitted with the standard Cup N2 tyres, not the faster Cup R tyres as used on the record lap. This car was loaned for the day by the Porsche factory to raise money for @dusportetplus charity at the Manthey Racing trackday. Stability control was switched off during the lap, but traction control was left on to save rear tyre wear. After Flugplatz we hit a top speed of 275km/h 171mph - some 3km/h faster at the same point than his record 6:56 lap. Thanks to Kevin for organising and the amazing driving!
