This latest SKF service centre, located in France, has installed a new factory in order to be able to repair the slewing rings from 3 to 6 metres worldwide. SKF had a double challenge: commission the cranes against a tight time schedule and get the cranes easier and safer to operate by new crane operators. In 2020, Konecranes delivered three double girder cranes: one 40 tonnes and two 25 tonnes to SKF France. All of the cranes have been fully equipped with our SmartFeatures such as sway control, target positioning, snag prevention, hook centering and follow me.
