As the Boeing 747-4 slowly ages to one of the oldest planes in Qantas' fleet, we get a hint of what flying was once like in this very special flight review from Sydney to Perth. Why I May do Less Flight Reviews by Stefan: You may notice us slowly move away from flight reviewing in the near future. As I grow up, my time is starting to equal money, and I'm also starting to get less of that time, and my flight reviews are extremely time consuming. That time is getting put into a video that will probably only get a couple thousand views. I've started trying to brand my flight reviews a little bit differently, but if that doesn't generate more attention I may have to stop. Flight reviewing starts to seem like a very inefficient idea once you look at how well other videos like ship tours do. Flight reviewing used to be easy to get into, if you added flight review to your title you'd get hundreds of views from people looking for a new flight review to watch; the market was scarce. Now it's getting harder, especially for me since I never fly in premium cabins. The cruise ship genre on youtube is starting to pick up popularity, and those videos can very easily earn tens of thousands of views, which equals money, which I need to continue doing youtube. I may get a couple people complaining how I'm making decisions based on how much views and money I make, but I can't be wasting my time for much longer. I need to get something out of what I do these days. So the prospect of making lots of flight reviews, that don't make much, when I could be doing other videos that get a lot more views is really hard to stomach. I won't stop doing flight reviews altogether. I may just focus on the big flight reviews that I know will get views, or switch up my style. The Suspicious Cabin Crew on Qantas by Stefan: This flight was part of a return journey I did on Qantas to Sydney from Perth. On the flight over I travelled on the Qantas A330, and the way back was on the 747. On the first leg a couple rows forward in the exit row, I overheard a conversation from one of the "passengers" saying that she was an employee for Qantas, and that she was just for plain uniform, she told the person next to her to fasten her seatbelt. I didn't think much of her, and thought she was travelling to her next shift. Until I saw the exact same person, wearing the exact same plain uniform on this flight. My parents overheard her talking to the "cabin crew" about me filming the flight, and apparently she wasn't impressed. This made me extremely anxious to film this flight review, and I thought there had to be more to this employee in plain uniform. I noticed her walking through the cabin doing safety checks, just like the normal cabin crew would, and she was even helping out distributing food to the cabin crew. Is she an undercover crew member, checking everyone is following the rules without them knowing. I don't know if this is a common thing that airlines do, or if I'm missing something, but I don't really like it.
