In August 2018 we went on a backcountry portage in Algonquin Park. We put in at Rain Lake and after a few hours of portages and paddling, we arrived at our campsite as the sun was setting. We were treated with some incredible sunsets, surely the most vibrant pink that an eye has ever seen... It was a perfect couple of days with the lake all to ourselves.
